It was easily the most emotional episode of "Glee" to date, and last night's (October 10) Farewell to Finn received quite a reaction via Twitter.
Given Lea Michele's rendition of "Make You Feel My Love" and the rest of the cast's chemistry, it was clear that both Cory Monteith and his character Finn Hudson will be sorely missed.
After the episode, Michele tweeted, "TEXT CHANCE to 50555 to give $10 to @ChrysalisLA an amazing org that Cory and I supported together."
Creator Ryan Murphy also posted a special message- "Thank u for all the kind words tonight. I miss you, Cory."
Star Darren Criss noted, "Dearest Gleeks, saying goodbye is terribly difficult -- we at #glee have had our time. Tonight's ep is not just for Cory, but for all of you."
Meanwhile, newly-engaged Dot-Marie Jones wrote, "LIL PUNKINS I CANT THANK U ENOUGH 4 THE LOVE & SUPPORT ITS HARD BUT YA'LL MAKE IT A LIL EAISER & 4 THAT FROM THE MIDDLE OF MY HEART I THANK YOU. EVERYBODY ON TONIGHTS EPISODE WAS WONDERFUL! I AM SO PROUD TO BE A PART OF IT BECAUSE ITS ONE HELL OF A FAMILY, FOREVER BE GRATEFUL!"
Additionally, Jenna Ushkowitz shared, "Tune in with all of us tonight to say goodbye to our friend Cory and our quarterback, Finn," while Kevin McHale penned, "Tonight's Glee was made out of a lot of love & a lot of tears by our incredible crew, cast & creators for our friend Cory. We miss you Cory."
Singer/actress Jordin Sparks was definitely moved by the show, as she tweeted, "This is such a touching tribute on Glee. I am bawling. #rememberingcory," and "Modern Family" babe Sarah Hyland stated, "Cried the entire episode of tonight's Glee. Beautifully done #Quarterback #RememberingCory."
